Where It All Began
Tāvare Soaps was created from Deepa’s desire to bring something meaningful and pure into people’s everyday routines - handcrafted soaps that nurture both skin and spirit.
What began as a small, personal experiment in her home has grown into a purposeful craft rooted in natural living, artistry, and mindful skincare. Inspired by her years in the United States and her background in graphic design, Deepa felt drawn toward a lifestyle centered on clean ingredients and conscious consumption. This eventually led her to explore traditional soap-making techniques and the world of botanical skincare.
Her journey began with a simple question:
“Why choose harsh chemicals when nature already gives us everything we need?”
Driven by this belief, Deepa learned the cold-process method - an age-old craft that preserves the natural richness of oils, butters, and botanicals. Every bar is made lovingly in small batches, ensuring quality, purity, and a gentle experience for all skin types.
